Job Overview:

The General Maintenance position involves performing various outdoor tasks essential to maintaining a clean and functional environment. Responsibilities include raking, mowing, stall mucking, string trimming, garbage removal, and flower planting. This physically demanding role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, with duties performed across multiple areas of the facility. The ideal candidate should be a team player, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfortable with hands-on tasks requiring physical effort

Essential Functions:

  • Job duties include, but are not limited to:
    - Raking leaves and debris
    - Mowing lawns and grass areas
    - Stall cleaning and mucking
    - String trimming and edging
    - Garbage and waste removal
    - Flower planting and garden care

Qualifications:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older with valid working papers
  • Ability to become licensed by the NY State Gaming Commission
  • Ability to work outdoors in old types of weather
  • Enthusiastic and ability to work in a diverse and fast paced work force
  • Team Player

Summary of Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

his is a physical role and requires the employee to walk, climb, stand, stoop, carry materials, kneel and bend at the waist. The ability to lift over 50 lbs may be required.
