Title: Social Media Content Creator

Work From Home Option: Hybrid - 2 Days/Week (40% Remote)

Job Overview:

The Social Media Content Creator is responsible for ideating, creating, and executing engaging content across NYRA’s social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, Bluesky and TikTok. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends and the ability to produce high-quality, platform-specific content, particularly short-form video such as Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts.

The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller with strong video production and editing skills, capable of capturing compelling moments from live racing events, behind-the-scenes access, and fan engagement opportunities. They will play a key role in expanding NYRA’s social presence by staying ahead of trends, researching competitors, and developing innovative content ideas that resonate with racing fans and new audiences alike.

This role works closely with the Senior Manager of Social Media and Content Strategy, as well as the broader Marketing team, to ensure content aligns with brand goals and enhances community engagement.

Qualifications:

Education (minimum): Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in social media marketing
Other Requirements: Preferred but not required experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and Social Media photography experience. Knowledge of horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering a plus

-To Belmont
0-15%
-To Saratoga
15-25% - Will Require to live for 8-9 weeks in Saratoga during the race meet.
During the Saratoga Meet your schedule will be Wednesday - Sunday.

Pay Range / Salary:  $67k - $72k
