Title: Payment Processing Coordinator

Employee Status: Regular Full Time

Work From Home Option: Hybrid - 2 Days/Week (40% Remote)

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Overview:

The Payment Processing Coordinator ensures that all credit processors used by NYRA BETS follow all state regulations. In general, the Supervisor will be a proactive problem solver responsible for maximizing cash collections by ensuring timely, accurate, complete, and compliant billing and follow-up.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain database and provides reports as needed by management.
  • Maintains all NYRA Bets customer account updated with settlements.
  • Handles all NYRA Bets collections for credit cards, ACH, etc. and reports for such.
  • Responsible for data entry of all NOC list to our system.
  • Handles all wire transfers back to customers.
  • Support strategic relationships with payment industry partners.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by senior management.
  • Dedicated Payments line and collections

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Education:
      • Associate Degree or High School Degree or GED and equivalent experience
      • 5 Years of payment processing or similar position
      • 3 Years Managerial Experience
      • Strong communication skills
      • Knowledge of Horse Racing Industry preferred
      • Experience: Payment Processing/Customer Services
      • Other Requirements: Bilingual is a plus
  • Knowledge Required:
    • Collection and payment processing

Summary of Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

This is an office role - primarily sedentary in nature with no special demands required.

Pay Range / Salary: $21.00/hourly
