Job Overview:
The New York Racing Association (NYRA) is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and personable Horsemen’s Relations Coordinator to join our team. In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional hospitality and a best-in-class experience for horse owners, trainers, and jockeys throughout the Saratoga and Belmont race meets. The ideal candidate is confident engaging with high-end clientele, understands the importance of outstanding customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to ensure seamless daily operations. This position is onsite during live race days at both Saratoga Race Course and Belmont Park. Prior experience in the horse racing industry is preferred.
Essential Functions:
Support Horsemen’s Relations department to provide exceptional onsite hospitality to owners, trainers and jockeys
· Contribute to the development and execution of an enhanced Horsemen’s Relations program
· Follow established processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of work
· Provides customer service to guests, proactively identifying and resolving service issues to enhance the guest experience.

Summary of Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
The Horsemen’s Relations Coordinator position is primarily onsite during live race days, requiring occasional prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the property. The role involves occasional lifting or carrying of materials up to 25 pounds, frequent use of hands for clerical, organizational, and hospitality tasks, and navigating stairs or uneven surfaces. The work environment is fast-paced, dynamic, and guest-facing, often requiring multitasking, working under time-sensitive conditions, and interacting with high-profile clientele while maintaining professionalism and composure. Outdoor exposure is expected due to race day activities, with varying weather conditions.
Pay Range / Salary: $22-$36
