Title: Utility Clerk

Job Overview:

The Utility Clerk is a union role. The workday shall start 1.5 hours before the first post (i.e. the start of the first race) and end .5 hour after the last post (i.e. the start of the last race).

Essential Functions:

The essential functions of this role include:
maintain all saddle cloths and spare equipment in the paddock
catalogue, charge, and maintain location trackers
placing location trackers in the proper saddle towel for the races
ship the number cloths and the tracking devices to all three tracks

Qualifications:

-General horsemanship
-Knowledge of racing
-Ability to work a racing schedule
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Summary of Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Continuous movement throughout the day indoor and outdoor.

Pay Range / Salary:  $151.42 daily
