Job Overview:
Develop, refine, and review racing operations and racing office reports to monitor the daily, weekly and monthly performance of NYRA’s core racing product. Deliver operational, strategic, technological, and tactical insights that help drive NYRA and overall business strategy. Find new sources of data and test ideas to develop competitive advantages for NYRA to explore as part of its longer-term vision for the future of racing in New York and the United States. Develop new analytics and metrics used to determine the efficiency of our racing program, use of purse money, performance of horse population, equine safety measures, and suggest improvements to better the entirety of the NYRA racing product. Additionally, this position will work with the SVP on numerous initiatives that may involve regulatory matters, partnerships with external customers, interactions with key racing participants both within and outside of New York as well as other tasks, as assigned.
This position is required to communicate and actively promote NYRA’s Mission, Shared Values, and Supporting Behaviors to achieve team-member job satisfaction and improve guest service product experience.

Pay Range / Salary: $120,000 - $125,000
