Title: Dirt Racetrack Operator – MII- Ozone Park, NY

Job Overview & Essential Functions:

  • Operate equipment to maintain and groom the dirt racetrack for racing.
  • Ensure compliance with established safety standards and other operating policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate proper technique and safety regulations.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and availability of all racetrack equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure sufficient supplies are available to meet anticipated workload.
  • Diagnose, fix, and report track maintenance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Perform corrective maintenance on equipment.
  • Report unsafe track surface areas.
  • Notify management work-related complaints, accidents, and injuries.

Qualifications:

• Must have 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery and hand tools.
• Must have 2 years of experience using heavy equipment such as tractors, lawn mowers, graders, pay loaders and compact loader and hand tools such as chainsaws, water pumps, fumigation, blower, pruner, pressure washers, stihl post nailer, branches chippers, drills, metal cutters, and grinders.

40 hours per week. Rate $35.58 – 36.65 per hour. Multiple Openings. Applicant must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
